Bali has new luxury resort soon. Just signed in this January 2012, the resort will operated by Jumeirah Group. Attending the signing ceremony held in Bali were Guy Crawford, chief executive Jumeirah Group; Gerald Lawless, executive chairman of the Jumeirah Group; Sukowati Sosrodjojo, commissioner of PT Asia Pasifik Properti; and Kuntjoro Widodo, director, PT Asia Pacifik Properti.
Jumeirah Group is the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding. The Bali luxury resort will be known as Jumeirah Bali and is expected to open in 2015.
Jumeirah Bali is located on the southern tip of the exclusive Jimbaran District –is adjacent to Bali’s exclusive New Kuta Golf Course. Jumeirah Bali consists of 80 spacious, hotel suites and 24 private villas. It will feature “architectural designs reflective of Bali’s rich cultural heritage and modelled after an ancient Javanese-Hindu water palace”.
According to the Jumeirah Group site, Jumeirah Bali will offer a variety of fine international and local cuisines in three restaurants, Jumeirah’s signature Talise Spa and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The resort will also feature an exclusive cliff-top wedding venue that captures stunning sunset views.
“A fully equipped business centre complete with meeting rooms and the latest communications technology will enable Jumeirah Bali to cater to both upscale corporate and leisure guests,” cites the Jumeirah Group website. The hotel is near to the airport, about 15 minutes.
